111. DON'T LOOSE YA COOL!

This time I was sufficiently inspired to do a long post.
Not managing to participate in the IFB Project #97
(wéééh, I had such a beautiful clutch to use for that one! snif...)
it has given me extra motivation to join the new project :D

Summer...
Idk, but summer seems really boring to me.
Maybe because everyone starts
talking and thinking about summer
way too EARLY every year.
And I hate hot weather.
Guess my body cells can't stand temperature
higher than 20 degrees.
And then,
my parents decide to buy tickets to Greece for the summer holidays!
The same every year again.
For three (or more) endless weeks
I get stuck in our little unknown traditional village
and have to survive EXTREMELY high temperatures.
Next year I decided to put on a strike:
COOL weather, COLD weather, NOT burning hot!

So, if your plans this summer evolve staying in a terribly hot country
(the sun has STRUCK YOU too hard in the face if you go there voluntary),
here's what I put in my suitcase for the summer.
Remember: always have sunscreen lotion/water/shades in your handbag!
Always wear some shoes, you wouldn't believe it, but you can get a sunburn on your feetpads too!
Especially if you have light coloured eyes...
Colour when you are parading at the beach!!! (NOT during midday out in the sun)
Walking around like a hippie is actually pretty cool.
Little dresses with funny prints can save you when it's so hot you can't even put yourself together to wear a T-shirt. (That strapless top is my solution for the whattowearwithmydungarees-problem)
When your T-shirts are SUPER LOOSE fitting, it's great.
Just for UNBEARABLE HOT DAYS.
Pair of shorts or baggy trousers? You decide ;)
1. Bitter & Sweet slippers
2. Marks & Spencer shades
3. Marks & Spencer green bikini, HEMA ethnic bikini, Hunkemöller monokini
4. MANY DIFFERENT THINGS!
5. Aggressive oriental dress with lace, H&M flared dress, ROUHOMANIA bandeau top
6. Vintage blue t-shirt, Dreamlike Australia t-shirt, Aris handmade hippo t-shirt, Jack & Jones dartboard t-shirt
7. Vintage Miss Selfridge green top, Pull and Bear top with back straps, Vintage lace top
8. Chinatown baggy trousers, Mango high waist shorts, Biaggini DIY shorts

♥♥thank you for reading my blabla and enjoy your stay in Monsterland ♥♥

PS. If you want to see what it is like to have holidays in a Greek village, you can click. We are renting our place for when we aren't there. It's all written in dutch, but I think you can learn much from the pictures too!

    1. many of the bracelets are from little street stalls you can find almost everywhere in Greece. Maybe a great idea for your holidays? :)
